Happiest stories from March!

There’s a lot of terrible things happening, yeah, but there’s a lot of really amazing things going on, too! Since I think we could all a little reminder, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite positive stories from the month of March!

I don’t know about you, but I tend to dwell. There are so many horrible, depressing things happening in the world and sometimes it feels like that’s all I, or anyone else, ever focus on. People who know me might not believe me when I say this, but I try incredibly hard to be an optimist. I genuinely believe that the world is a good place, that things will work out, and that people are better than we think they are. I just… forget that a lot.

There’s a lot of terrible things happening, yeah, but there’s a lot of really amazing things going on, too! Since I think we could all use a little reminder, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite positive stories from the month of March!

This woman who was able to get a transplant after someone responded to her newspaper ad

To remind you that people are good and will help when they can.

This dog who never has to run out of his favorite toy, even after it was discontinued, thanks to a kind stranger

To remind you to embrace the things you love.

This woman who is getting her camera back after dropping it in the ocean two years ago

To remind you that even when it seems hopeless, things can work out in the end.

This high school senior and her family learning she was accepted to her first choice college

To remind you that your hard work and determination will all be worth it one day when your dreams come true.

This little boy crying as he sees his mom walking down the aisle

To remind you how special it is to share your life with people you love.

This waffle house employee who got a $16000 scholarship after her act of kindness

To remind you that kind people still exist in the world.

I hope these stories make you smile today! There are good things all around us, sometimes you just need to remember to look.

What’s the happiest thing that happened to you in March?
