Celebrating my 27th birthday at Disney World

I’m so grateful I live where I do and get to do something like go to Disney for my birthday. I’ve had my annual pass for a few years and sometimes I still have a hard time believing it.

Today is my birthday! Somehow, and I try not to think about this too much for fear of a mental crisis, I’m 27 years old. To celebrate, I requested off work today and last Friday so I could have a four day weekend. Which honestly is the best possible gift I could have given myself.

On Friday, my best friend took off work and we all (her, my mom, brother, and I) went to Magic Kingdom! I hadn’t been in almost a year and it was such a perfect day. Well, perfect minus how cold it was. We all layered up but it was windy and in the 50s. Ya girl is too weak for that. Give me 78 degrees and full sun or I’ll be somewhere shivering.

Anyway, I’m so grateful I live where I do and get to do something like go to Disney for my birthday. I’ve had my annual pass for a few years and sometimes I still have a hard time believing it.

Because what’s a trip to Magic Kingdom without a castle picture? [IMG: Karly and Lexi, both wearing colorful Disney spirit jerseys and ears, posing in front of the castle.

Okay but the country bear jamboree is one of my favorite attractions and they sang happy birthday to me. Day. Made. [IMG: Karly posing with one of the country bears.]

Wandering around Disney being wished a happy birthday is always such a magical feeling. I’m so happy it worked out that we could go. Not a bad way to start 27 at all.

I’m about to go play board games all day and snack on junk food on my last day of freedom. Tomorrow I have to go back to the real world and get back to my normal work schedule. But before I go, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who’s ever supported my little blog by reading just even one post. I appreciate it more than I could say!
